James (and by extension Ric and I) has had a difficult week... he's been crying almost non stop, not eating well and not sleeping very much. I finally took him into the doctor today to see if there was something wrong or if it is just a case of "normal" baby crying. We went to the private pediatrician who saw James at the Portland Hospital when he was born. I like him a lot... he was able to see James right away and gave him a full check up. Everything (weight, hearing, heart, etc) looks good, but he thinks that the babe has acid reflux, which would explain the crying and not eating well and the huge amount he throws up (it's really pretty amazing). So we're starting him on Zantac tonight, which should help right away. Please keep fingers and toes crossed that this does the trick.
Otherwise you might be able to hear both James and I crying in all four corners of the globe :)
