Election coverage from London papers

On this day after the election, I thought it might be interesting to share photos of the headlines from London newspapers. Needless to say, people in the UK were desperately hoping for an Obama win and, while I don't want to talk politics on the Bremer Blog, people here are thrilled about what this now means for America and its standing in the world. But you will be able to see that clearly by looking at the photos below...

The newstand at the tube

Sorry, couldn't get this one to turn the right way. It says "Momentus, spine-tingling, absurd: an election like never before." From the Guardian

From The Times

And here's a slideshow on the Guardian's website of papers from all over the world:

It was definitely interesting being over here. I had a guy working at a sandwich shop ask if I was American and then start talking all about the election!
